Gonet-Médeville Premier Cru Tradition Brut NV

HK$0.00

(70% Chardonnay Grand Cru Cramant/Vertus, 30% Pinot Noir Premier Cru Bisseuil)

Pale, luminous gold. Razor-sharp yet integrated acidity. Zest of freshly grated lemon peel, crisp green apple, and underripe pear — all vibrantly high-toned. Wet flint, faint brioche dough, hint of toasted hazelnut and honey. Creamy mousse to stony finish. A benchmark grower Champagne – terroir-transparent, impeccably balanced, and hauntingly complex at its price. Drink now for vibrancy, or cellar 5+ years for brioche evolution.

About Gonet-Médeville

Founded in 2000 by husband-wife duo Xavier Gonet (of Gonet-Sulcova) and Julie Médeville (from Bordeaux’s Médeville family), this boutique estate merges Burgundian terroir focus with Champagne finesse. Key pillars:

  • Vineyards: 15ha across Premier/Grand Cru sites (Cramant, Vertus, Bisseuil).

  • Certified Organic (ECOCERT) since 2010, transitioning to biodynamics

  • Hand-harvested, strict selection (20% first-press juice only)

  • Indigenous yeasts, zero malolactic fermentation

  • Solera system for reserve wines (back to 2006)

  • Style: Purity, minerality, and tension over power.
